National Library Week is an annual celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities. This year the Meridian Library Foundation will be celebrating reading & libraries with the Bookmobile at the Chick-Fil-A Village on Eagle Rd in Meridian. The Bookmobile will be offering free crafts, activities, library card sign-ups, story times, and tours of the bus. The Foundation will be handing out 200 free books to youth in our community (thanks to our TITLES Sponsor: Mountain West Bank) and will be hosting a raffle to raise funds to support the library. Additionally, Chick-Fil-A Village Meridian will donate 10% of the daily proceeds to support our Meridian Library District!
